GPS Golf Course Mapping
Using advanced GPS mapping techniques, we can provide a course base map which
is useful for many course management functions. A course base map typically
includes the mapping of all greens, fairways, tee boxes, and hazards. The map
is extremely useful for course planning, area calculations, resource allocation,
and maintenance scheduling.
GPS Asset Mapping
Using advanced GPS mapping techniques, we can provide an as-built map of all
course assets. The most commonly mapped assests include irrigation
components, utility lines, shelters, and cart paths.
GPS Course Management Software
The course engineering data that we create as a function of our mapping
services (or you create using optional equipment) can be of even greater
value when combined with our course management software. The easy to use
software allows for accurate area and distance calculation, tracks detailed
notes related to various course issues, and offers cost analysis functions
to track personnel, equipment, supply expenses, and much more.
Green Analysis Mapping
Using a high accuracy robotic total station, we can provide precise green
analysis reports and maps which are useful and easy to understand. This
information is invaluable to course architects, course builders, and course
managers. Maps and reports can be tailored as needed and can include a
contour map, a slope zone reference map, a green collar/apron map, and a
slope zone analysis map.
Laser Course Measurement
Using state-of-the-art distance measuring techniques, we can provide simple
hole and yard marker measurements accurate to 1/100th of a foot. This
service includes...
- Total length for each hole
- Sprinkler head distances to the front, middle, and back of the green
- Distances from existing yardage markers
- Establish locations for proposed markers (optional)
All measurements are documented and provided in a popular spreadsheet format.
